Physical Artistry

Physical expression is what drives my creativity and well being. So I love to teach it! Since I like to teach functional and somatic movement as much as I love teaching artistic development, I will break physical artistry down into 2 equally important categories:

Athleticism

Artistry

  • Connecting with yourself
  • Gaining Strength
  • Flexibility & Mobility
  • Balance
  • Learning and understanding technique
  • Executing skills
  • Inspiration and Motivation
  • Overcoming plateaus
  • Preventing & managing injuries
  • Nutrition
  • Rest
  • Choosing a good coach
  • Connecting with yourself
  • CREATIVITY
  • Musicality
  • Dynamics
  • Passion
  • Committing to your craft
  • Inspiration
  • Dance
  • Transitions
  • Sequencing & Choreography
  • Bringing the inside out!
  • Expressing your own unique voice through your craft
  • Research
  • Feedback

I am one of the lucky ones because I LOVE both categories.

I was not born with an athletic body, but my addiction to pushing my physical limits gave me one. I WAS born with an unstoppable creative imagination and will to find solutions, create new pathways, and think critically. I have spent my entire life studying both sides, and feel proud to say I have attained a mastery of both. I don’t claim to understand everything (if I did, I hope you would close this window and never return), but what I do know, I know well, inside and out. I have studied with great coaches, experimented with various techniques, succeeded and failed, persevered, and obsessed. I know this shit and I love it!

So let’s get to work.

How can I help you, my friend? Are you in need of technical training, motivation, inspiration, guidance, or all of these? Here are some ways we can work together.
